CLIENT: TireLocker, a start-up company that picks up and stores seasonal tires for the high-end automobile owner niche market.
CHALLENGE: As a young company, TireLocker needed to make an impression and garner attention in the marketplace in order to successfully launch their specialized service.
SOLUTION: Develop branding and other marketing collateral that will entice consumers to take advantage of TireLocker’s services.
STRATEGY: To get TireLocker on a roll, we knew we needed a multi-faceted campaign. So, we created distinctive branding (logo), a website featuring e-commerce for service ordering, a promotional brochure, point-of-service displays, a folder packet, and auto dealer incentive programs. We also used geographic-targeted ad delivery on major search engines. Because the service is seasonal, the campaign was built around the key winter and spring periods. All our efforts were done with the thought that groups in target cities (matching weather conditions and demographic data) someday be able to franchise the service.
RESULTS: Many auto dealers who provide tire-changing service responded well to our campaign, setting up point-of-service display information in their locations. Combined with our targeted direct mail and online campaign, we were able to generate significant business for the young company. TireLocker used our demographic analysis of their customer base to refine their targeting for their next marketing campaign.
